The International Board shall advise BICC and its director on matters of research and policy; it is in particular asked to make suggestions concerning the annual work program and to comment on the publications. The members shall be appointed for a period of three years by the Board of Trustees (Gesellschafterversammlung). They shall serve in an honorary capacity and receive reimbursement for their expenses. The members shall elect a chairperson and a deputy.
