Marianne Wargenau is currently studying Geography in Bonn at the University of Bonn. Her main areas of interest are hydrology, vegetation geography and remote sensing.
After passing her university entrance exam (Abitur), Marianne Wargenau did an apprenticeship in cabinet making in Karlsruhe. She went on to study at the Universities of Duisburg, Cork (Ireland) and Bonn (Geography and related fields). During her studies, she worked as a Student Assistant at the Hydrology Research Group at the University of Bonn and completed an internship at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen.
