Tresa modules
Modules are the basic elements of TRESA training materials. You can download many of the modules here directly. These include all of the TRESA modules, as well as modules listed by partner organizations. All of those are available freely.
Please be reminded that we do request that you acknowledge the TRESA (or other) origin of the work when it is used, and that you must receive permission for any modification of TRESA (or other) modules.
The modules come in two versions, the advanced module with additional notes for trainers and the basic module for trainees.
Marking and Tracing Small Arms and Light Weapons (2008) Trainee
This module is intended for those working to institute best practices of marking and tracing in their home countries within the framework of the UN Marking and Tracing Instrument (M&TI).

This Manual evolved from the need to adopt a more practical approach towards realizing the objectives set out in the ECOWAS Convention on Small Arms and Light Weapons, Their Ammunition and Other Related Materials, which was signed on 14 June 2006. It is the result of a collaborative effort between the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), the ECOWAS Small Arms Unit, the German Development Cooperation (GTZ) and the Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC).
