BICC conducts research activities, provides advisory services, policy advice and executes capacity development projects. Its international staff carries out BICC- and third party-funded activities. BICC collects and publishes information, draws up expert opinions and releases publications and makes these available to NGOs, governments, research institutes, universities, private organizations and the interested public. The Center organizes exhibitions, conferences and expert workshops on a regular basis. With its public relations activities, BICC intends to raise public awareness of its central topics.
