"Preventing the diversion of small arms and ammunition"

The UN Programme of Action (PoA) laid the foundation for action countering the illicit trade and uncontrolled circulation of small arms and light weapons at the national, regional and global levels. In accordance with the two-year cycle of PoA meetings, the Fifth Biennial Meeting of States will take place in New York from 16 to 20 June 2014. BICC will participate in an Extra informal Meeting of the Group of Interested States (GIS) on practical disarmament measures at the German House, New York.
