Public event \ “Der Preis der ‚Zeitenwende‘?“

On 21 September 2022, BICC together with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Plattform Zivile Konfliktbearbeitung and Deutsche Gesellschaft für die Vereinten Nationen will organise a panel discussion in Bonn on the future of international arms control.

How bad is international arms control at the moment? What is the impact of war? How can trust between states and and cooperation be rebuilt? And what initiatives initiatives are needed to revive arms control regimes?

These questions will be discussed by

Angela Kane, Former UN Under-Secretary-General, Director of the Advisory Board, Dialogue Advisory Group, Netherlands, Senior Fellow, Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, Austria

Prof. Dr. Dietmar Köster, Member of the European Parilament

Dr Max Mutschler, Senior Researcher at BICC
