MENA SELECT \ Exchange with Tunisian Civil society

As part of the outreach of the MENA Sustainable Electricity Trajectories project, BICC has organized an exchange on 1 March 2017 in Berlin with Tunisian civil society representatives active in promoting energy and environmental issues.

The meeting took place ahead of launching the upcoming project activities in Tunisia planned this year. The delegation consisted of representatives from Alliance pour la promotion des énergies renouvelables (APER/The Alliance for Promoting Renewable Energies). APER is a network of Tunisian civil society organizations joined by the objective of promoting green and sustainable energy solutions. The meeting was within the framework of a 5-day study visit sponsored by the Tunisian-German energy partnership.

BICC together with its partner Germanwatch presented the MENA SELECT project while sharing insights from the project activities conducted in Morocco within the scope pf the project. The meeting which was conducted in both French and German was held at the partner institute Germanwatch at their Berlin office.
