Parliamentary Evening \ Exchange of experiences on protracted global refugee movements
Protracted refugee situations as a consequence of violent conflict, misled refugee aid and a change in the political interaction with refugees were topics dealt with at the Parliamentary Evening on 22 March 2017 in Berlin.
BICC (Bonn International Center for Conversion and IMIS (Institute for Migration Studies and Intercultural Studies at the University of Osnabrück) presented insights and reflections from displacement and refugee studies and discussed with parliamentariens and invited guests the challenges of European refugee policy.
