Recycled from earlier conflicts or newly imported, small arms are tools of power and violence which can cause social strife to turn into far more destructive conflict. Most of the work of the Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC) is connected to small arms in some way or other, but BICC also carries out projects which relate directly to small arms.
