Regional DDR Action Plan Development Workshop
Operationalising the National DDR Strategy of Cameroon
The NDDRC has established important policy and operational frameworks to advance DDR efforts in Cameroon. Following the development of the National DDR Strategy in 2025, there is a need to operationalise strategic priorities through regional action plans tailored to local realities, conflict dynamics, and reintegration challenges. This upcoming workshop will provide a platform to strengthen collaboration among the different stakeholders, gain commitment and ownership in the preparation and implementation of the regional action plans. Also, the workshop provides an opportunity to examine linkages between the national DDR strategy and concrete practice in the regions, thereby ensuring a more effective and impactful DDR process at the regional level. Please contact Milena Berks for more information.
