Dr Susanne Schmeidl
Professional Career
Susanne Schmeidl holds a Fachhochschuldiplom from the Evangelische Stiftungsfachhochschule für Sozialpädagogik. She conducted a year of field work in Mexico and graduated with honours. She holds a masters degree in Sociology from the Ohio State University. In 1995, she was awarded her PhD in Political Sociology. Susanne Schmeidl is Honorary Senior Lecturer at UNSW Sydney.
Collaboration with bicc:
She is collaborating with bicc in the project “Advice on Afghanistan to BMZ” (since 2022) and in the research project “Corruption, Clientelismm & Patronage in Afghanistan” (2024) for the Enquete Commission on Afghanistan of the German Bundestag.
